High Poly Magma Gun, Diabotical Game

Magma Gun Sculpt, made for the Diabotical Game.

I´ve been working on Diabotical for a couple of years and wanted to share a few renders of the weapons, the renders does not represent the style or mood of the game its only a more interesting way of showing the highpoly sculpts. The original concept (included among the images) was done by our Art director and concept artist Johan Wahlbäck. Typically I get a sheet of variations of a model and we discuss some traits of the item and then I start blocking the main shapes and we constantly bounce back and forth until the final design and feel is achieved.

I do all work inside of Zbrush and these are vray renders with some photoshop comp of the highpoly sculpt. Its a very fun work and I got more weapons in the pipe!
