Week 01
The first week have passed and we have been cordinating and planning all the work everyone did during the christmas holidays and gathered the lasts bits of research
As for the artist team we are finalizing the artstyle for the game after some intense testing.
We are all warmed up and feeling the love from Paradox Interactive. And now week 02 is ahead of us and we will continue producing the game.
The Office
And so it begins
As the first news of the year i will reveal the fruit of last years hard work and I am pleased to announce further details about our newly started company Sublime Interactive.
First of, we are not Sublime Interactive anymore, the name didn’t go through due to similar business in the area with the name Sublime. But we’ll come up with an even better name and in the end its not so much the name but what you deliver that matters.
So then what happened and how did it happen?
After us 8 decide to wholeheartedly take this great chance/risk starting a company rather then doing our internships by ourselves, we where all focused on trying to get an office and equipment for starters, since we all feel it is invaluable to have a place to go to everyday to work and brainstorm and feedback on each other, sure our plan “E” where to work over skype but it´s not the same at all. So we followed every lead we heard of and in the end we came in contact with Paradox Interactive and after a lot of back and forth and pitching I can now announce that we will be working on our own game title starting the 16th January and thanks to Paradox Interactive we have been all set with the equipment we need and a fantastic office space. I´will for the first time go there tomorrow and I´ll upload some pictures then.
Also, we recruited one more member to join our team, Sofie sundqvist, a talented animator who will be very busy for our upcoming game.
Needles to say I am very excited about all of this and we start producing this monday! We also have a litle extra thing coming up but for that the work is still in progress so it´s not time to reveal anything yet.

Its time to make it official
The program on Futuregames are a vocational one, meaning that there are (in this case) 30 weeks of interning. This intern period starts January 2012 and with this in mind 10 of us students had a meeting a few months ago to discuss if there was an interest in starting out our own studio. A lot was discussed and in the end 8 of us started working and looking in to this. We are doing this instead of interning on an existing game studio but of course our goal is that in the end of theese 30 weeks we will continue to be working on and surviving as a game developing studio. There are much more news to this that will be disclosed but at the moment I can´t but I can tell you that the name of the company is Sublime Interactive AB and we are at the moment 8 man strong and the studio will be based here in central Stockholm (Sweden).

so after about 10 days of hard work the first character of my specialization school project is done.
The specialisation starts.

So now the specialisation start at Futuregames.se and for the next 10 weeks we will all be focusing on whatever we wish to specialize in. I´ll be making characters. I´ll start a new section for it where I´ll describe my goals and intentions with the projects.
